Pastor Withny Pierre has been in Haiti for over two weeks. Here is his update:
God has allowed us to do a lot this week. So far we distributed food to 350 families in PAP (Port-au-Prince) and in Leogane and Grand Grand Goave for a period of one week. We fed 700 patients in Cap-Haitien and Milot. We provided medication and help money to two clinics in Milot and in Quartier Morin. We helped 24 teachers to get their salaries for January and February 2010. We helped relocated 23 families from PAP to Cap Haitian. All this was possible because we have purchased a truck.
I will be leaving Haiti on March 1st. Also, we purchased a generator (25 kilowatts). We are on schedule and will make sure the neediest get what the American brothers and sisters sent for them in these difficult days. God bless you. I am about to leave for Cap-Hatian. I am so happy that the Lord has given me another chance to be part of this effort. Thank you.
For the sake of His Kingdom,
Withny

From Chris Lieb:
We are experiencing a revival that is unprecedented thoughout Haiti. This picture shows 42 people being saved today at Thomassin. There have been 82 people saved this weekend just at Thomassin alone. I have been receiving phone calls—one as far as Maisade which is over 5 hours from the epicenter of the earthquake—and there were over 200 saved in that church. All the churches that I have been in contact with have been full with people sitting outside and there have been literally thousands that have been saved in Haiti though the past three days. A month ago we were overwhelmed with patients in the hospital to be saved physically. Today our churches are overwhelmed with people being spiritually saved. These days are unprecedented in Haiti. It is wonderful to see our churches in action. Please continue to pray for Haiti.
