Bruce French Deacon brucefrench@newharborchurch.com Biography Bruce was born in Concord, California where he was raised with Christian values and went to church and Sunday school. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at a very young age. His family moved to Benicia when he was 12. As a young man, Bruce stopped attending church, and like most youth, he wanted to be connected to the mainstream. He came to a point in his life where he found himself out of control. God heard his prayers revealed to him that he was missing the joy and contentment that comes from fellowship with Him. God led Bruce to a good Bible Study and to New Harbor Community Church on October 18, 1992. The next Sunday, he was playing drums with the worship team. Bruce was baptized at New Harbor in the summer of 1997. Pastor Kelly married Bruce to Janie on April 13, 2006. Bruce serves on the worship team at New Harbor and considers it a blessing to serve as a deacon as well.
