Biography

Dale grew up in a small town in Oregon. He attended church and Sunday School with his mother and accepted the Lord as his Savior at a summer church camp when he was 12 years old.

In 1986, Dale married his first wife, Lori, and became a dad to sons, Corey and Christopher. They attended church as a family, and in September 1987, the family was baptized together.

Dale's wife Lori was diagnosed with cancer in March 2002. She went to be with the Lord in August 2002. As a widower, Dale became involved in a non-profit organization for widows and widowers. Indirectly through this web site, he met Alicia Muth, a member at New Harbor Community Church.

Alicia went to church as a child with any neighbor she could get a ride with. She accepted Christ as her Savior at age 9. She and her first husband, Craig, married in 1985 and had two daughters. In 2000, the family moved to Benicia and began attending Benicia Bible Church. Craig was diagnosed with cancer in June 2002. That summer, he accepted Christ, and the family was baptized in August. Craig died the following July.

Dale and Alicia were married by Pastor Kelly in October 2005, and he became a dad to Kayla and Ashley. In 2008, Dale and Alicia felt led to start the GriefShare Ministry at New Harbor.
