PLANNING YOUR VISIT
IF IT'S YOUR FIRST TIME at New Harbor, we encourage you to come 10 minutes early to allow for parking, checking in children, and grabbing a cup of coffee before service begins.
For more about your visit within our Children's Ministry, check out Preparing Your Visit for Children's Ministry.
Our church is located in Benicia, California, a convenient drive for residents living in Vallejo, Fairfield, Vacaville, and Suisun City, as well as those across the Benicia-Martinez Bridge in Martinez and Concord.
The church is uniquely located among warehouse buildings off of East 2nd Street in Benicia. A blue New Harbor Community Church sign stands on the street side of the lot for those driving by to see.
Welcome to New Harbor!
COMMUNITY
The core of our mission is loving others the way Jesus loves us.
Whether you call Benicia home or make the short drive from the Concord, Fairfield, Martinez, or Vallejo areas, we know you'll find a genuine community at New Harbor.

What should I wear? Our church leans on the casual side - on a typical Sunday most of our congregation can be found in jeans and a nice top. Don't be surprised to see a range of everything from basketball shorts to suits, ripped jeans to dresses. Come in whatever feels right to you, and we're sure you'll fit right in.

What will my kids do while I'm in service? After check-in, children are greeted by their leaders and friends with the option for free play, talking, coloring, or games through the first few minutes of service. We start the lesson with praise music. Following music, leaders play a video related to the Bible lesson of the week, which transitions into discussion questions. Most children agree that their favorite part of the service is the activity, which connects the “point” of the lesson to a fun craft, project, or game. Learn more about what to expect in our Children's Ministry here.

What will my teens do while I'm in service?Teens in 6th grade and older are encouraged to join in the large service, held in the Sanctuary. We integrate our students and adults, often having students on stage leading worship! A special service for middle and high schoolers is held Sunday evenings at 7pm, also in the Sanctuary.
